Texans (and the rest of the USA) did you know that you do not need a referral for physical therapy? Have you heard this but have been told otherwise? Texans have not needed a referral for physical therapy since 2019 yet we still have people misunderstand this topic. The clear answer is NO you do NOT NEED A REFERRAL to be seen by a physical therapist. While this is a more recent advancement for Texans compared to other states, you can be rest assured that it is not a new concept nationwide or worldwide for that matter.
