Function? What does that imply when it comes to exercise. Physical therapists have been stressing and educating the public on the concept of functional exercise for decades. In our opinion, functional exercise has been a bit watered down from the root concept over the years. Function does not mean cute or complex which we find many people are preaching in today's clouded realm of information. Functional exercise means simple movement patterns that the body is exposed to on a daily basis and has great carry over effect across many daily tasks.
